We are HALO! We connect people and brands to create unforgettable, meaningful, and lasting experiences that build brand engagement and loyalty for our over 60,000 clients globally. With over 2000 employees, 1,100 Account Executives and 40+ sales offices across the United States, HALO is the global leader of our $25B industry.
HALO is looking for an eCommerce Implementation Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment to build and launch websites using our enterprise ecommerce platform. You own the build from kickoff through go-live, turning client requirements and brand direction into a polished, fully functional website. You equally manage building, problem solving, and partnering with clients.
Success in this role means understanding how a website is built. You will work with UI/UX design, responsiveness, and platform configuration, so proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is important. You're exceptionally skilled, resourceful, and accountable, which allows you to support several websites builds in parallel.
Above all, you take full ownership of what you do. You're someone who takes responsibility for a project and will consistently deliver quality work on time with minimal direction. You use the resources and people around to solve problems, escalate early, and launch successful projects.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end build of eCommerce websites, from project kickoff through launch, translating requirements and brand direction into a complete, fully functional storefront.
- Design and build responsive storefronts across desktop and mobile, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to configure layout, navigation, content, and the overall user experience.
- Configure and validate core store functionality, including product catalog, search, cart and checkout, customer flows, custom domains, analytics, SEO, and third-party integrations.
- Troubleshoot build and functionality issues within the platform, using available documentation, tools, and internal resources to resolve them efficiently.
- Recognize when work falls outside platform capabilities and requires a developer or SME, and escalate early with clear, complete context to keep timelines on track.
- Review and validate requirements before building, identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies up front and asking the right questions to confirm the approach.
- Accountable for the build timeline, workload, keeping status, progress, risks, and blockers visible to the project team for all webstore work including external development and integration teams.
- Perform quality assurance on your own work throughout the build and support formal testing, identifying and resolving issues before client review and launch.
- High confidence as the technical point of contact in client conversations, demonstrating the website, explaining functionality in clear terms, and answering build and design questions.
- Document your work and deliver a clean handoff at launch to the teams that support the store after go-live.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience building, configuring, or implementing eCommerce websites, or web applications.
- Hands-on experience with UI/UX design, front-end development, configuring online stores or websites on a robust enterprise, SaaS, or custom ecommerce platform.
- Working proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to read, write, and troubleshoot front-end code.
- A strong eye for design and the ability to translate brand direction into clean, responsive, on-brand storefronts across devices.
- Proven ability to independently own a project from start to finish, stay organized, and deliver on deadline with minimal direction.
- Resourceful problem-solving skills, with sound judgment on when to solve an issue independently and when to escalate for support.
- Familiarity with eCommerce and B2B integration concepts such as single sign-on (SSO), punchout and procurement integrations, APIs, and data feeds is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in client-facing conversations and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Highly detail oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple builds and deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, work overtime or off-hours when required.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, communications, business, or a related field required
- Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is between $50,000 - $80,000 annually. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors. At HALO, these include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, location, education and training, key skills, internal equity, external market data, and broader market and business considerations.
