DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

POSITION SUMMARY
Vero Fiber is looking for a dynamic, hands-on marketing leader to help shape the future of fiber internet. We are a fast-growing company committed to delivering lightning-fast, reliable, and affordable service with a personal touch, and we need a Director of Marketing who can take our brand to the next level.
In this role, you will set the vision and roll up your sleeves to lead the execution of fiber to the home marketing across all markets. You will build awareness, drive customer acquisition, strengthen community trust, and grow the reach and sophistication of our marketing functions. The initial focus will be on engaging residential customers, with an expanded focus on small businesses over time.
You will guide a talented team, lead campaigns ranging from national brand initiatives to highly localized activations, and ensure every customer touchpoint, from digital ads to grassroots outreach, reflects Vero’s commitment to speed, reliability, and friendly service.
- RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and execute the national fiber marketing strategy, aligning brand messaging, campaigns, and creative direction with business goals.
- Report weekly on Vero’s marketing performance across all channels and geographies, tracking results against targets and adjusting plans to ensure consistent execution.
- Lead a hands-on, data-driven digital strategy, including end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of paid acquisition efforts — with expertise in Google, Meta, and other relevant platforms — alongside owned and earned channels.
- Manage Vero Fiber’s corporate brand, ensuring a strong presence as both a trusted service provider and an employer of choice.
- Support and measure local marketing efforts, including partnerships, sponsorships, and other grassroots initiatives.
- Drive offline engagement strategies, including direct mail, community events, and other local touchpoints.
- Maximize referrals and encourage strong word-of-mouth through customer advocacy programs.
- Manage a mix of full-time team members and contractors, ensuring authentic and timely engagement with Vero’s social community in line with our Brand Promise.
- Mentor and develop marketing capabilities within the organization, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Use consumer insights, competitive analysis, and market data to guide campaign development and prioritization.
- Partner with sales, product, finance, and operations to align marketing with business readiness and performance goals.
- Test and implement new marketing channels to expand reach and strengthen brand presence.
- Work closely with sales teams to capture “feet on the street” feedback on Vero and its competitors to maximize campaign ROI.
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of marketing experience with proven success in integrated strategy, customer acquisition, and campaign execution.
- Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering impactful national and local marketing programs.
- Strong understanding of both large-scale brand building and localized market engagement.
- Track record of success in both digital and offline channels, including direct mail and referral programs.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable results.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across creative, media, product, sales, and finance teams.
- Expertise in Google and Meta Platforms, other platforms a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Ability to pass a background and MVR screen.
- JOB DETAILS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis position requires up to 25% travel to support marketing and community events.
- This position requires the ability to sit and work at a desk for extended periods of time, using a computer and other office equipment.
- This position requires the ability to perform fine motor tasks, such as typing or using a mouse, for extended period of time.
- The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday during normal business hours, with occasional weeknight and weekend availability as needed to fulfill the core duties of the role.

- COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSBase pay is paid at an hourly rate/annual salary rate. The range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 depending on experience.
- Bonus eligible up to 10% of base compensation.
