We’re hiring for a Director of Business Development for our Creators and Entertainment vertical at Kiswe. This is your chance to work with and help lead a company that is defining the future of direct-to-consumer, paid live-streaming solutions (both live and on-demand). Compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary plus commission, offering the opportunity to increase earnings based on performance. The base salary range applicable to this role is $102,500 - $128,000. Eligible commissions include aspects of net event revenue (for both standalone and recurring events) broken into quarterly goals with an accelerator for high achievement. This role is open for US candidates to work remotely or can sit in our US Headquarters at our offices in New Providence, New Jersey. We prefer candidates be located near a city with a large presence in the creator economy (ie. New York City, Los Angeles, Nashville, Chicago, etc.). Description:

The Director of Business Development - Creators and Entertainment will be responsible for driving business opportunities for Kiswe across the US. This position focuses on the creator and entertainment community, for which Kiswe can offer amazing audience engagement capabilities and revenue through live streaming opportunities. This role should have experience in a creator, entertainment, music, or niche vertical, helping to initiate business partnership opportunities.


Creator and entertainment partnerships are a key area of business for Kiswe. As this contributor works to build Kiswe’s live streaming business across the creator community, a working knowledge of the unique business and marketing strategy around the complexities faced by creators will be vital. A sizable set of contacts (creators, management, agencies, talent representation, creator platforms, content production, etc.) and partners across the landscape will be key to this role as we focus on business development opportunities and look to launch more shows in 2025.


The Director of Business Development - Creators and Entertainment will report to the Chief Revenue Officer, and this role will conceive and create revenue generating live-streaming shows. This role will consistently interact with other team members in the Creator realm, as well as Product, Marketing, Account Management, and Operations. This is often seen as both a fun and creative role where you will be able to innovate, collaborate, and genuinely enjoy creating a customized experience for super fans to interact with content creators within a deal structure that will drive the best outcome for both Kiswe and our partners!


Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Build out business opportunities in the US across Kiswe’s Creator and Entertainment vertical (and/or music, other niche verticals such as comedy, beauty, fashion, fitness, and travel)
  2. Source, sign, and assist in executing livestream opportunities with key creators, progressing from the ideation stage up through launch alongside Account Management
  3. Collaborate with other folks in Business Development roles regarding existing creators and opportunities, helping drive these concepts from the ideation phase to reality in a team selling approach
  4. Strategize with the Director of Strategic Accounts and Revenue on overall approach and marketing to creator community, and specific approaches for different creator segments/platforms

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. 5+ Years experience in the creator or entertainment industry
  2. High level of familiarity and comfortability with the agency landscape
  3. Proven experience establishing and leveraging relationships with C-level leaders and decision makers to bring deals across the line
  4. Agile learner and creative problem solver
  5. Demonstrable track record in delivering partnerships that generate new revenue both as an individual contributor and in team-selling environments
  6. Understanding of the complexities tied to live creator and entertainment events, with a particular skill set honed in on building relationships with those in the space
  7. General knowledge of the language of contracts, specifically as related to entertainment
  8. Expertise with major social media platforms and experience working with these platforms in a promotional, marketing, and business context
  9. Experience with live/live streaming events is a plus
