About this role
What youll do
Collaborate on outreach strategies and link building
Analyze existing sites for content and on-page optimization opportunities
Develop and implement new content strategies with our content team
Create ranking and traffic reports
Conduct technical SEO audits to ensure sites do not have crawl or code related issues
Stay up to date with the latest SEO strategies and algorithms and work with internal teams to apply relevant learnings to our sites
Analyze the competition to identify optimization opportunities
What youll need
3 to 5 years of hands-on SEO experience either at an agency or in-house
Proven track record in managing SEO projects from inception to completion
An understanding of link building best practices
Experience creating site audits and presenting your findings to clients or stakeholders
Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc
Adaptability to work in both a collaborative team environment and independently
Familiarity with HTML, CSS and basic coding
A passion for SEO. We dont expect you to know everything about SEO but we expect you to want to learn everything about SEO
Data driven. Demonstrated analytical skills. Ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data and analysis
Excellent communication skills. Its not enough to have the right answer, you need to be able to effectively communicate your strategies and work well with others
Experience with Local SEO is a plus
Location
CharterUP employees have the option to work remotely (even in "post-COVID" timeframe) full-time or in a hybrid model out of one our physical offices in New York, San Francisco, Atlanta, or Austin. For this role, there would be an in-person training with our CMO. This training would be in Atlanta in the first ~1-2 weeks of the position.
