We're hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer for a YC-backed voice AI startup. It's a team of about 40 people, revenue has grown more than 10x since the start of 2025, and thousands of companies run their sales, support and logistics calls on the product today. You'll build what those customers use every day to run their voice agents: dashboards, analytics, prompt management and customer-facing tools. Small, high-ownership frontend team that reports directly to the CTO.

Who this is for: You work as a frontend engineer at a VC-backed startup today, you write React and TypeScript every day, and you want to own big pieces of a product that is growing fast.

• Who this isn't for (please don't apply if this is you):
• Most of your experience is at banks, fintech, financial services, insurance or travel companies (PayPal and Coinbase are fine)
• You're on a contract, agency, staffing or IT-services placement, like a consultancy placing you at a client
• You're a current student, or a recent master's grad without 2+ years of full-time engineering since graduating
• You aren't writing frontend code in your current or most recent role

Location: On-site in Redwood City, CA. This team works a 996 schedule (in office Monday to Friday, Sunday remote). Please only apply if that works for you.

Comp: $200K to $300K base plus meaningful equity. Offers are based on how you do in the interviews, not on past pay.

What you'll do

• Ship React-heavy features end to end, from prompt management to dashboards and analytics
• Write production React and TypeScript by hand
• Work with backend and full-stack engineers on a team of about 7 frontend-focused devs
• Talk to customers directly to onboard them, debug issues and turn feedback into UX improvements
• Own frontend architecture decisions and move fast

What we need

• Bachelor's or master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computational Science or Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years of professional engineering experience after graduation, and you're working as an engineer right now (we need recent hands-on coding, so time spent on a new degree doesn't count toward this)
• Current title of Software Engineer, Frontend Engineer, FDE, Solutions Engineer or Product Engineer
• Expert-level React. You can build without AI help
• Production TypeScript and Node.js
• 1.5+ years at a VC-backed startup, and ideally time at a well-known tech company or high-growth YC startup

Heads up on the interview: there's a live coding screen with no AI tools allowed. If that's not your thing, this role isn't a fit.
