Cognizant is seeking a Senior Devops Engineer for an onsite role in Westlake Village, CA.

The salary range for this role is between $107,000 to $123,000 depending on experience and qualifications of the candidate. All applicants must have valid work authorization.

Responsibilities.

• Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Oversee the integration of Java-based applications with GitHub repositories to streamline version control and collaboration.
• Provide expertise in monitoring and logging using Grafana and Datadog to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to automate testing and deployment processes, reducing manual intervention.

- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to manage and provision resources in a consistent and scalable manner.

• Ensure security best practices are followed in the DevOps processes, including code reviews and vulnerability assessments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment and infrastructure, minimizing downtime and ensuring high availability.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce latency.
• Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps processes, ensuring clarity and consistency for all team members.
• Provide training and support to development teams on DevOps tools and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with business goals and objectives.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve DevOps processes.
• Contribute to the overall success of the company by ensuring that our applications are delivered quickly, reliably, and securely.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates should have the following skills:

• 8 to 10 years of experience with Devops CI/CD.
• 6 plus years of experience with Github.
• 6 to 10 years of experience with Datadog, Lowkey
• 6 plus years of experience with Grafana.
