What You'll Do

In this Technician role, you will be with a group of hard-charging, professionals tasked with implementing, operating, installing, solving complex issues, and continually optimizing our rapidly growing worldwide systems. If you are looking to expand your knowledge on RF systems with support from Engineers and a robust training program then this is the job for you.

You will also be working alongside our RF Engineers to operate and run the RF systems for our many Satellite Earth Stations. You will have the opportunity to work with numerous internal and external groups, along with handling Break/Fix incidents, crafting alarm management documents and monitoring the systems

The day-to-day
 

• Alarm Monitoring
• Engage in initial alarm solving by using existing Runbooks.
• Assist RF Engineers with difficult issues by using documentation and enhanced Runbooks.
• Support Vendors onsite with equipment replacement using current documentation and runbooks.
• Check-in and Check-out of Vendors performing activities at the sites.
• Project administration support where needed.
• Support updating tickets as needed.
  
   

What You'll Need
 

• 2+ years of relevant NOC experience
• Basic Networking Experience
• Basic RF systems experience
• Ability to work a rotating night shift
  
   

What Will Help You On The Job
 

• Experience with or Knowledge of Uplink / Downlink gateway Earth Stations, RF systems, Monitor and Control Systems. and associated hardware.
• Experience with RF test equipment like Spectrum Analyzers, RF Power Meters, Signal Generators.
• Basic knowledge of Facilities equipment such as HVAC, ATS, Generators, and UPS.
  
   

Salary range

$24.09 - $40.34 / hourly
