The Position:
You are the perfect fit for this role if you enjoy and have the skills to lead, manage, and be accountable for the performance of the Marketing department; have experience in the subscription/membership/app space; can oversee planning, developing, implementing and managing overall marketing strategy; provide forward thinking ideas to drive all digital marketing efforts and achieve revenue objectives; and measure ROI and KPI’s for the Marketing department. Startup experience is strongly preferred – we’re looking for a team player who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.

You will be successful in this role if you have/can:

  • Solid understanding of the Outfit Formulas framework concept and applying it to building a wardrobe (www.outfitformulas.com)
  • Experience with the Entrepreneurial Operating System(EOS) methodology and leading a weekly Level 10 meeting
  • Experience leading and supporting a marketing team to success
  • Background in planning, developing, implementing and managing overall marketing strategy
  • Experience managing, guiding and training other digital marketers and marketing positions on the team
  • Provide forward thinking ideas to drive all digital marketing efforts and achieve revenue goals
  • Manage all digital marketing channels (website, blogs, email, SMS, and social media) to ensure brand consistency + diversify conversion channels
  • Work closely with PPC ads agency to ensure ROAS and approve messaging and creative
  • Measure ROI and KPI’s and prepare budget
  • Develop specific campaigns to create and maintain high levels of customer interaction
  • Oversee social media accounts and content planning
  • Manage and improve online content, considering SEO and Google Analytics to drive more traffic to the site
  • Motivate digital marketing team to accomplish goals
  • Monitor competition and devise strategies to stand out
  • Stay on the cutting edge of current marketing trends
  • Good understanding of Category Design for marketing and what it takes to be a Category Queen (familiarity with “A Marketer’s Guide to Category Design”)
  • Experience with marketing a subscription and/or app based digital product
  • Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and implementation
  • Ability to provide data driven insights through creation of marketing attribution dashboard (Wicked Reports, Northbeam, etc.)
  • WordPress experience preferred
  • Klaviyo experience preferred
  • WooCommerce experience preferred but not required
  • Asana experience preferred but not required
  • Canva experience an asset

We are a driven and results oriented team. We train our team to help them succeed and everyone is held accountable. You will be responsible for the following metrics on a weekly basis:

  • Sales with target to hit over 7 figures in annual revenue
  • Subscription growth + retention
  • Email list and SMS list growth
  • Website traffic and conversions
  • Reporting on ROAS (working with PPC agency)

This is a remote position of approximately 20-25 hours per week, with temporary increase in hours required during our quarterly launch cycles. Training will be provided virtually (Google Meet/Zoom) and via e-mail/Slack. Hourly compensation commensurate with experience is offered. Must have your own PC/laptop (laptop preferred) with high speed Internet connection. Position will consist of working virtually and independently.
