Job Description:

At Carolina Estate Planning, we are dedicated to more than just providing legal services; we strive to make a meaningful difference in our clients' lives. Our firm has cultivated a supportive and growth-oriented culture where talented professionals thrive. We emphasize work-life balance, foster open and honest communication, and are committed to the personal, professional, and financial success of our team members. Our core values underpin everything we do, guiding us to uphold the highest ethical standards, serve our community with integrity, and continuously pursue excellence. We believe that great legal work creates ripples of positive impact, and we are passionate about helping families plan their futures with confidence and clarity.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. This role requires an individual who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering measurable results. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our digital marketing channels, developing and executing targeted advertising campaigns, and building a robust referral partner network. You will work closely with our Fractional CMO, Founder, and Director of Operations to craft a marketing engine that drives growth, enhances brand visibility, and establishes Carolina Estate Planning as a trusted leader in estate planning services. Your expertise in artificial intelligence tools will be instrumental in streamlining content creation, optimizing campaigns, and identifying new opportunities for expansion.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of three years of hands-on digital marketing experience, preferably within professional services, legal, or financial sectors. Proven success in managing paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Facebook and Google, with demonstrable results, is essential. Candidates must be proficient with AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, or Claude, and demonstrate a daily application of these technologies to enhance productivity and output quality. Experience in building and nurturing referral relationships or partner networks is highly desirable, along with strong writing skills capable of producing engaging, accurate long-form content with minimal editing. Additionally, candidates should have experience planning and promoting events or seminars, translating analytics into strategic decisions, and thriving in autonomous, high-energy environments.

Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Paid Advertising

  • Develop, manage, and optimize advertising campaigns on Facebook and Google to generate qualified estate planning leads with a focus on return on ad spend.
  • Own and execute SEO strategies, ensuring our website remains current, technically sound, and ranks for high-value keywords relevant to our target audience.
  • Manage and expand our social media presence by creating content that informs, engages, and converts prospective clients.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, utilizing insights to optimize ongoing marketing efforts.

Content Creation & Brand Building

  • Create high-quality legal content including blogs, website copy, email sequences, and educational guides that foster trust and drive client engagement.
  • Lead brand-building initiatives across digital and print channels, ensuring a consistent and compelling voice that resonates with families planning their futures.
  • Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Jasper, and Claude to accelerate content production, refine ad copy, analyze performance data, and automate repetitive tasks.

Seminars & Events

  • Plan and execute both live and virtual client seminars, overseeing all aspects from concept and promotion to logistics and follow-up, positioning Carolina Estate Planning as a market leader.
  • Organize and manage referral partner events, including workshops, appreciation dinners, and networking gatherings to strengthen professional relationships and generate warm introductions.

Referral Pipeline & Partner Network

  • Build and maintain a vibrant referral partner network comprising financial advisors, CPAs, elder law professionals, wealth managers, and senior care providers.
  • Develop and implement a referral marketing strategy that maintains top-of-mind awareness among partners and ensures a steady pipeline of qualified introductions.
  • Create partner-facing content, including newsletters, event invitations, and resource kits, to reinforce relationships and demonstrate value.
  • Monitor referral activity and engagement metrics, providing regular reports to firm leadership on pipeline contributions and partnership success.

Benefits

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $95,000, complemented by performance-based bonuses.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits, including medical, dental, vision, Employee Assistance Program, life insurance, and 401(k) matching.
  • Flexible work arrangements with a hybrid model supporting work-life balance.
  • Direct mentorship and collaboration with senior leadership, including the Founder and Fractional CMO.
  • A supportive culture that values personal growth, professional development, and financial stability.
  • Access to ongoing learning opportunities through training sessions, workshops, and career advancement resources.
  • Opportunity to work within a fast-moving, collaborative team that recognizes and rewards high performance.
