Our client is a multi-billion dollar professional sports franchise located in New York. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for processing payments, reconciling invoices, and providing accounting administrative work for the team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare weekly payment settlement runs, print and distribute checks, and process ad hoc payment requests
- Process supplier invoice requests and code to the appropriate ledger accounts
- Support with the month-end close activities
- Maintain up to date supplier information, W9’s and 1099 eligibility
- Process purchase order related invoices for procurement purposes
- Help research and resolve any variances and vendor inquiries
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2-5 years of accounts payable experience
- Workday experience a plus
- Knowledge of basic sales and use tax a must
