The Curchin Group is located in Red Bank, NJ (Exit 109). We are a medium size public accounting firm. Our comprehensive services are provided to a diverse and longtime client base. Come work with us and escape the big firm work overload. We have a hybrid work environment.

Our current positions are mostly with our audit and assurance work. Though some tax work would be utilized.

As long as your public accounting experience is a few years and up we'll review your qualifications.

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Experience with financial institutions and non-profits is a plus.

Salary would be based on the level of expertise. if your goal is become an equity partner we have the room for you to grow to that position.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform audit work and supervise depending on level of expertise
• Compile and analyze financial statements
• Participate with the firm's audit and accounting committee
• Participate in business groups and professional organizations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Be a CPA, preferred, or at least working toward acquiring
