Summary

As a Web Designer at Leonard Truck & Trailer, you will play a vital role in enhancing our online presence through creative design and effective website management. This position is essential for supporting our mission of delivering exceptional service while fostering growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain engaging websites that reflect the Leonard Truck & Trailer brand.
2. Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to create visually appealing graphics and layouts.
3. Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal viewing across various devices.
4. Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate email marketing campaigns into the website.
5. Manage website content updates, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
6. Utilize JavaScript and SCSS for dynamic web functionalities and styling enhancements.
7. Monitor website performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
8. Stay updated on industry trends to incorporate best practices into web design.

Qualifications

1. Design & Development: Create responsive, visually appealing website using WordPress and Elementor Page Builder.
2. Wordpress Theme Customization: Customize and build themes from scratch or modify existing themes to align with brand guidelines and project requirements.
3. Performance & SEO: Optimize websites for speed, search engine ranking, and usability; integrate SEO best practices.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and developers.
5. Maintenance & Updates: Perform website updates, troubleshoot issues, and implement feature enhancements based.
6. Documentation: Provide clear documentation on site structure, design decisions, and customization as needed for future reference.

Required Qualifications

1. Expert in WordPress website design and development.
2. Expertise in Elementor including building custom pages, and using advanced features/plugins.
3. Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, and basic JavaScript.
4. Strong grasp of responsive design principles and mobile-first design.
5. Experience with email marketing tools is a plus.
