Water Treatment Plant Operations Engineer

The Queensbury Water Department is looking for an individual to work under the Water Superintendent to manage a 15 MGD rated Water Filtration Plant. This individual will perform tasks to ensure the facility’s compliance with all applicable Federal and State agencies requirements. SALARY: $85,000 - $95,000: (possession of a professional certificate, post graduate degree or a Water Operator’s Certificate will be considered for additional compensation).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science in environmental, civil, public health sanitary or any appropriate engineering curriculum. A degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related degree may be considered. Five years of work experience in field of study desired.
