Job Overview

Tech Souls is looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our in-house content team. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, a creative eye for storytelling, and the ability to produce engaging content for social media, marketing campaigns, and client projects.

The role also requires the ability to shoot videos in the office when needed, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both production and post-production.

Responsibilities

1. Edit high-quality videos for social media platforms, advertisements, and marketing campaigns.
2. Create engaging motion graphics and visual effects using Adobe After Effects.
3. Edit videos professionally using Adobe Premiere Pro.
4. Shoot high-quality videos in the office for promotional, branding, and social media content.
5. Add transitions, sound effects, subtitles, color correction, and background music to enhance video quality.
6. Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to develop creative concepts.
7. Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining high production standards.
8. Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques and social media trends.

Requirements

1. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
2. Strong understanding of creating short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
3. Ability to shoot professional videos using a camera or smartphone.
4. Good understanding of composition, lighting, and framing.
5. Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience with motion graphics and animations.
2. Basic knowledge of photography and videography.
3. Understanding of social media algorithms and content trends.
4. Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools is a plus.
