One of our client is looking for a Tier 2 Network Engineer who is responsible for implementing, maintaining, supporting, network devices within an organization or between organizations. Assume responsibility for key client networks, accountable for maintenance and improvement.
In this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture. If you’re also passionate about security and data protection, we’d like to talk with you.
Job Responsibilities
5+ years’ experience in Network engineering
Proven incident and problem solving (troubleshooting) skills with an emphasis on a timely and accurate resolution.
Leads network technology upgrade or expansion projects, including installation of hardware, software and integration testing, as well as coordinating these activities without disturbing function of other systems.
Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with teammates, managers and clients to maintain high service levels in a demanding environment.
Leads in the development and production of complex documentation for installation, network topology, and troubleshooting of communications hardware or software.
Ability to learn very quickly in a fast-paced environment Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
Job Requirements
Solid background in network administration and architecture
Working knowledge of SDWAN Technologies e.g. VeloCloud, SilverPeak, or Fortinet
Nice to have prior SASE experience
Experience with security compliance standards such as PCI, HIPAA, etc
In-depth understanding of routing protocols (e.g. BGP, EIGRP & OSPF)
Solid understanding of network operating systems
Sharp troubleshooting skills
Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools
Supporting in rotations shifts and 24/7 on call support
