Our client, one of the fastest-scaling venture-backed tech startups in the computer vision space, is seeking a highly motivated Client-Facing Engineer to join their fully remote team. This individual will work on novel product experiences blending LLMs, retrieval, and backend systems while guiding pilot projects from discovery to deployment. The ideal candidate possesses strong customer empathy, is product-minded, and focuses on translating real-world pain points into intuitive technical designs.

Role

1. Design and develop AI applications primarily in Python, running evaluations to validate models and package solutions.
2. Lead discovery sessions, guide pilot projects, and ensure successful client deployments.
3. Monitor system performance and reliability, add to logging, billing, and auth services, and build internal tooling to automate repetitive tasks.
4. Shape project scope with product managers, define success metrics, and make trade-offs to accelerate learning and outcomes.

Essential Skills

1. Proven experience writing solid, production-quality software.
2. Hands-on experience with LLMs and a solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals.
3. Proficiency in Python for backend systems and AI application development.

Base can approach $250k + guaranteed bonus and equity.
