The Role

The firm is looking for a Litigation Associate with approximately 3+ years of experience ideally.

Of particular interest are attorneys with backgrounds in:

• Insurance Coverage
• General Liability
• Insurance Defense / Casualty Litigation
• Construction Litigation / Construction Defect
• Professional Liability
• Auto Liability
• Trucking / Transportation
• Catastrophic Injury / Personal Injury Defense

What You'll Be Doing

Depending on experience, associates will have the opportunity to:

• Manage their own caseload with partner support
• Develop case strategy from initial assessment through resolution
• Draft and argue substantive motions
• Handle written discovery and depositions
• Work directly with clients and carriers
• Attend hearings, mediations and arbitrations
• Prepare matters for trial
• Gain meaningful courtroom and trial exposure

This is particularly attractive for an attorney who wants to actually run cases, rather than spending years handling only one component of larger matters.

Compensation

• Base Salary: Up to $200,000, depending on experience and background
• Plus monthly bonus opportunities
• A significant number of attorneys regularly achieve the monthly bonus, creating the potential to earn meaningfully above base salary.
• There is also an annual bonus opportunity, with awards varying depending on individual and firm performance.
