2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Software Engineer role focuses on developing and integrating tools that optimize contracting, eligibility, and billing processes. This position contributes to business outcomes by delivering software solutions in close collaboration with product and business stakeholders. The role also includes leadership responsibilities such as mentoring team members, leading large projects, and driving technical decisions that shape the organization’s technology strategy.
3. Responsibilities:
• Build and integrate custom and third-party tools to enhance contracting, eligibility, and billing workflows
• Collaborate with product and business teams to implement effective solutions
• Provide informal leadership by mentoring colleagues and identifying process improvements
• Utilize AI and machine learning tools to solve complex problems
• Lead large-scale projects with foresight on infrastructure and architecture needs
• Research, adopt, and advocate for new technologies
4. Requirements:
• Minimum of 7 years experience writing clear, tested, and efficient code
• Familiarity with large language models and generative AI best practices
• Experience with modern back-end frameworks such as Rails or Python
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks like React or Vue
• Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Strong debugging and optimization skills
• Experience developing APIs for mobile applications
