We’re looking for a Senior Email Marketing Manager who lives for lifecycle strategy, segmentation, and storytelling. Someone who knows that great email isn’t just about "sends" and "open" rates. It’s about connection, personalization, and conversion. You’ll own the strategy, execution, and performance of our email and SMS channels, driving retention, engagement, and revenue through smart automation, magnetic creative, and effective management of our third-party partner.

Requirements

  1. 4 - 6 years of experience in email marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing (preferably in the DTC, CPG or Health and Wellness space).
  2. Proven track record owning campaigns from strategy to execution, with measurable performance impact.
  3. Deep experience with Klaviyo, Bubblehouse, and Zaymo (flows, segmentation, A/B testing, deliverability, reporting).
  4. Strong understanding of customer journeys - from acquisition to retention to reactivation.
  5. Excellent copywriting instincts with an eye for brand voice and customer emotion.
  6. Analytical mindset: able to interpret data, spot patterns, and optimize for growth.
  7. Experience managing or collaborating with a third-party lifecycle or CRM agency to execute campaigns and flows.
  8. Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to move fast in a startup environment.
  9. Comfort working cross-functionally with performance marketing, e-commerce, and creative.
  10. Basic understanding of SMS, push, and multi-channel retention tactics.
  11. Bonus: Experience with Shopify, Bubblehouse, Zaymo, or ESP migration.
  12. Bonus: Familiarity with HTML/CSS for template editing and QA.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategy & Execution: Own the entire lifecycle funnel from onboarding and nurture flows to win-backs and loyalty campaigns.
  2. Third-Party Management: Lead, brief, and oversee our external lifecycle partner to ensure flawless execution, alignment with brand strategy, and consistent performance optimization.
  3. Segmentation & Personalization: Build smart audience logic that delivers the right message to the right person at the right time.
  4. Campaign Management: Plan and execute weekly promotional, educational, and content-driven sends that align with brand moments and launches.
  5. A/B Testing: Run structured tests on creative, subject lines, send times, and content to continually improve KPIs.
  6. Reporting & Optimization: Track and analyze performance metrics, turning insights into actionable next steps for both internal and external teams.
  7. Collaboration: Partner with creative, content, and growth teams to ensure messaging is cohesive across touch points.
  8. Automation: Build and maintain flows that maximize retention and LTV while reducing churn.
  9. Innovation: Stay ahead of email and SMS trends, experimenting with new formats and technologies that elevate the customer experience.
