My client who is a leading Security Solution provider is currently looking to on board an experienced SAP Technical/Solution Architect with a cross industry background in managing/architecting medium to large scale SAP implementations and transformations.

Essential experience includes a very strong hands on SAP technical skill set, a broad knowledge of the SAP ecosystem, as a whole, as well as strong client management skills.

This role will allow individuals to be based anywhere within the U.S. with somewhat regular travel (20-30%) to customer sites throughout the U.S. Due to industry requirements, U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders are encouraged to apply.

The Role:

• Manage Technical architecture analysis, research, design and development of new functionality and integration with key applications and services under SAP ecosystems
• Design new solution extensions based on customer requirements
• Provide architecture and design guidance to the development team
• Guild the engineering team to develop, configure and implement the solution as per the product development standards to meet business requirements
• Monitor the work of the technical team and ensure standards are adhered to in accordance with SAP’s Solution Extensions
• Ensure technical integrity of projects, making sure that common technical elements are leveraged, and that work is not duplicated
• Participate in product roadmap and product strategy definition.
• Engage with leading customers and strategic partners to identify and validate requirements and translate to solution design
• Lead team in driving and delivering customer solutions
• Performing integration architecture and infrastructure design activities
• Ensure customer satisfaction through quality work and effective communication throughout projects

The Candidate:

• 6+ years’ work experience as an SAP Technical/Solution Architect in either the consulting or end user space
• 10-15 year hands on background working within the SAP space (ECC or S/4 HANA)
• Strong understanding of SAP best practices
• Must have excellent expertise in ABAP development with a very good SAP cross module understanding
• Must have extensive development experience using ABAP objects, HANA SQL Programming, SAP Fiori Developments, OData developments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) based design & development and ABAP Restful Programming Model
• Experience with SAP BW, BW/4HANA is highly advantageous
• Experience with Java based development is a plus.
• Must be an expert in analyzing, creating system specifications, and developing tests and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP technologies.
• Experience working with interfaces in addition to Web Services, such as Java connectors and Rest APIs communicating with non-SAP applications.
• Must have good experience with SAP security concepts and must have implemented authorization checks in ABAP objects.
• Experience in working with SAP Cloud technologies like SAC and other SAP Cloud technologies.
• Expertise in completing Solution demos and presentations to customers/business stakeholders/architects.
• BS degree in computer science or engineering

Salary Bandings – $160k-$185k Per Annum + Bonus + Stock Options (pre-IPO) + Benefits
