The Research Associate will execute on experimental plans at the interface between chemistry, biology, and materials science and support a variety of programs that will require experience and/or the ability to follow detailed protocols, learn and execute bench skills, and adhere to applicable regulatory requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiments both independently and in a collaborative fashion, on time and correctly
- Plan tasks for successful completion of experiments based on requirements set by senior staff
- Communicate day-to-day project status to managers
- Report results and other deliverables via verbal, written, and graphical communication to internal stakeholders
- Follow established protocols and work with senior staff to adapt or develop new protocols
- Document information in laboratory notebooks, applicable quality records, and MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Contribute to media and whitepaper collateral creation
- Perform equipment and software validations
- Document and troubleshoot experimental method failures and instrument malfunctions
- Adhere to quality and regulatory standards, including Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), as required
- Assist in making media, restocking supplies, and other general laboratory support as needed
