Paradigm is a software company transforming the way that the residential, construction & building product industries operate across the globe. We are looking for a Back End Software Developer - myBLDR to be part of revolutionizing these industries.

Our flagship product is a web application hosted on Azure in a SaaS model. Our APIs and back-end services are built using Python, Django, GraphQL, Hasura, Node with TypeScript and PostgreSQL. We also utilize Docker and Terraform for containerization and deployment. You will build new features and enhancements for an extremely successful platform that is being used by 10’s of thousands of homebuilders across the United States today, as we invest significantly in the growth of this platform to reach a new set of users. You will be part of a team transforming the homebuilding industry, with truly next generation capabilities.

What You Will Do:

• You will implement new features and enhancements for our application, running on Azure with a React front end and Python Django back end.
• You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of teams & projects, you will enhance and maintain the code for the back-end API’s, services.
• This role is a good mixture of teamwork & individual project work.
• You will participate in daily standups, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives. You will collaborate with peers and lead developers, releasing to production frequently.
• You will work with product management to understand product goals and suggest solution approaches for achieving those goals.
• You will write unit tests, and ensure your code performs well and meets all functional requirements.
• You will participate in code reviews with other project team members, and adhere to best practices suggested by team leads.
  
  
  

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ Years of experience developing complex software solutions
• Experience with Python, Django, GraphQL, Hasura, Node, PostgreSQL, or equivalent backend technologies.
• You are a critical thinker, with requirements analysis capabilities, and a proven problem-solving ability.
• You can take direction and work independently to creatively meet business objectives.
• You are very organized with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
• You are agile and able to adapt to changing demands and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• You are self-motivated and resourceful, with strong interpersonal skills; you are able to work individually as well as with a team.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. Most roles at Paradigm have three levels, Associate, Mid and Senior. Our pay ranges are inclusive of all three levels (if applicable), our US based Associate level pay begins at $60,000 annually for this role. The salary does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary and benefits. These compensation levels are subject to an annual review.
