Job Title: Network Analyst

Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months (Possible to extend)

Minimum Pay Rate: $45/hr. on W2

Interview Process: There will be two interviews – 1st one is 30 minute tech interview (phone). If that goes well, it will move onto a one hour interview with managers and more technical questions. This will be on video (MS Teams)

Note: MUST COME ONSITE EVERY THURSDAY. Other days in the office as required to perform job duties/management. The average is 1-3 days a week in-office. That varies based on project assignments, meetings, etc. as required to perform the job duties.

Requirements:

On-call rotation along with after hours work usually on Wed evenings (low risk change window) along with Sunday Evening (high risk change window).

*Candidates must be willing to work some overtime and weekends

* The manager is open to candidates that live outside of Columbia but still able to come onsite everyday for training (Greenville, August, Aiken, Charlotte etc.)

This is one of the largest networks in SC so he really needs candidates with enterprise background and network experience.

Candidates will need a lot of Cisco experience (routers (specific type) and switches) Some of the other buzz words he wants to see are virtual environment, network protocols, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, F5, BIGIP, Firewalls – ex is Palo Alto (would really like to see this), lots of Hardware Compliance Certs are great. Good environments to come out of are large companies, hospitals, colleges, banks and some military branches with large environments.

Some of the things he does not really care about: VMware, Workstations, Linux, small companies and school districts.

This is a fast-paced environment with lots of projects, meetings, working with the team collaboratively, etc.

Team work is essential especially due to working weekends at times.

Education: Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree Required Work Experience: 6 years of network or other job related experience. Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree Preferred Work Experience: 8 years-of experience working in infrastructure/network environments performing analysis (hardware and/or software), planning, and implementation. Preferred Licenses and Certificates: CCNP, CCNA
