Description
We're hiring a Microsoft Configuration Manager (CM/SCCM) and Intune Administrator for the System and Software Deployment unit in our Information Technology department. The core focus of this position will be CM/Intune tool and infrastructure administration including software distribution, Group Policy Object (GPOs)/Configuration Software Policy (CSPs) across multiple domains, and using both on-premises and Cloud based toolsets. This position will also keep tools and infrastructures up to date and current, as well as troubleshooting SCCM/Intune tool and endpoint issues. The team is responsible for supporting the computing environment of the nearly 14,000 devices across the enterprise.
Location and hours:
This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at the Government Center in downtown Minneapolis at 300 South 6th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55487, and remote as job duties require. Work hours will primarily be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with flexibility. This team also has a shared rotating on-call shift. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
- Work with GPOs and CSPs across multiple domains.
- Troubleshoot and provide direction for resolution of complex technical issues; analyze and solve critical problems.
- Support Operating System Provisioning via Autopilot for Windows 10/11 devices.
- Assist other lines of businesses technical staff with complex image, patching, applications, software delivery, tool issues and errors.
- Assist in the management Microsoft Endpoint Management Infrastructure.
- Contribute with PowerShell scripting for Enterprise Settings and Configurations.
- Configure and Deploy Windows 11 policies, settings, and application deployments, using Microsoft Endpoint Manager in a Hybrid Cloud Environment and Azure Domain Cloud Environment.
- Troubleshoot SCCM/Intune tool and endpoint issues.
- Maintain tools and infrastructures to be up to date and current.
Knowledge and Skills
Need to have:
One of the following:
- Seven years or more of information technology experience.
- Associate/vocational/technical degree in computer science, engineering, or a related information technology field and five years or more of information technology experience.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, management information systems, data engineering, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related information technology field and three years or more of information technology experience.
AND
- Certification in a leading professional level certification area (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, Infoblox Core DDI, etc.).
