What you’ll do

1. Translate business process requirements into detailed application and technical architecture designs
2. Configure, build, and test application and system components to deliver high-quality solutions
3. Collaborate with developers, designers, and architects to ensure solutions meet functional requirements and performance expectations
4. Lead and oversee cross-functional development teams to design, develop, and enhance software assets that meet client and business needs
5. Drive end-to-end delivery, ensuring adherence to methodologies, timelines, and quality standards
6. Proactively identify, track, and resolve risks and issues impacting delivery
7. Participate in and lead quality management reviews, ensuring all deliverables align with defined requirements
8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and best practice adoption
9. Coordinate and lead peer reviews and technical walkthroughs to ensure code quality and design integrity
10. Develop and maintain technical, functional, and end-user documentation
11. Provide ongoing application and technical support as needed
12. Manage delivery commitments, including tracking progress, reporting status, and ensuring milestone achievement
13. Collaborate with and leverage offshore teams to support global delivery
14. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning within the team
15. Support business development efforts as needed, including contributing technical expertise during the sales process
16. Recommend and implement improvements to development processes, maintenance practices, and system standards
17. Own product engineering within a business unit, including managing engineering metrics, cost, quality, and client satisfaction across portfoliosSkills and experiences

Qualification

1. 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a technology or consulting environment
2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3. Experience working with global and offshore teams, with at least 3+ years in distributed delivery environments

Technical Expertise:

1. Programming: C#/.NET or Java
2. Service Development: RESTful APIs, Microservices, ASP.NET Core, Azure API Management, Azure API Apps
3. Cloud (Azure): Compute, Storage, and PaaS services (App Services, Web Apps, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Cognitive Services)
4. Data & ORM: SQL Server, Azure SQL, Entity Framework or Hibernate
5. Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, AKS
6. DevOps: Git, Azure DevOps, Maven, Jenkins
7. Scripting & Web Technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6, jQuery, JSON
8. Design & UI: HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, Bootstrap, responsive and usability design principles
9. Frameworks: Angular, React, Node.js, Vue.js, or similar modern frameworks
10. Web Frameworks: ASP.NET MVC, PHP, JSP/Spring
11. Testing & Tooling: Git-based workflows, Grunt, npm, Jasmine, Selenium
12. Exposure to RPA tools such as Blue Prism, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere

Leadership & Delivery Capabilities:

1. Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, Agile methodologies, and software planning
2. Proven ability to lead teams and deliver high-quality outcomes aligned to timelines, budgets, and operational goals
3. Accountable for the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of team deliverables, as well as chargeability and training targets
4. Experience managing integration of workstreams to support broader strategic and operational objectives
5. Ability to recruit, mentor, and develop talent, while influencing and managing virtual teams
6. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them through to completion
