Join Star Local Media as a Local Media Sales Representative

Star Local Media is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic local media sales representative to join our team. You will be responsible for selling advertising solutions across our print and digital platforms, including newspapers, websites, social media, and email newsletters. You will also build and maintain relationships with local businesses and community organizations, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and contact potential clients and generate sales leads
- Present and pitch Star Local Media's products and services to prospective clients
- Negotiate and close sales contracts and agreements
- Manage and update client accounts and ensure timely delivery of advertising materials
- Monitor and report on sales performance and customer feedback
- Attend local events and network with potential and existing clients

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in media sales, advertising, or marketing
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Knowledge of the local market and media industry trends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
