Shepard Trucking is looking for a reliable and motivated Lead Driver Dispatcher. This role is extremely important to the daily operational efficiency of the company. Must have great communication skills, be able to effectively lead the Drivers, and easily adapt to change. The hours will be 7am-4pm. (This is in office only)

Responsibilities:

• Dispatch the team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Supervise Driver Scores.
• Keep companies score above 98%.
• Quick and effective problem-solving.
• Ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Act as a liaison between the Operations Manager and Delivery Associates.
• Record daily notes reporting on the team’s progress for the day. Sending a daily activity email.
• Coach/Drivers as needed.
• Perform Driver Associate compliance checks.
• Deliver routes as necessary to assist the team.
• Use of mapping and GPS programs.
• Monitoring of route timeliness.
