About the Role

We're hiring a Junior WordPress Developer to join us in-office and produce websites for our growing trades client base. Our builds follow a proven structure and we adapt each one for the client's brand, color scheme, photos, and written content. You won't be reinventing the wheel. You'll be turning out clean, well-organized, conversion-ready sites that help a roofer in Tulsa or an HVAC company in Phoenix win their local market.

This is a true junior role. We are not looking for a senior developer in disguise. We're looking for someone who is comfortable in the WordPress Gutenberg editor, hungry to learn the rest, and willing to put in the reps.

What You'll Build

1. Service directories and location directories for trades clients
2. One page per service and one page per location, built to a consistent standard
3. Brand-specific color schemes, photo placements, and written content
4. Rudimentary Go High Level setups — callback calendars and contact forms wired into client workflows

What We're Looking For

1. The Gutenberg editor doesn't scare you. You can navigate blocks, patterns, and reusable layouts without freezing up. You don't need to know cPanel, PHP, Javascript, or even raw HTML. You do need to know your way around a WordPress admin.
2. A real willingness to learn. We will train you on our build standards, our SEO structures, and our Go High Level workflows. You have to actually want to get better at this craft.
3. A high degree of patience. Our work is detail-driven and repetition-heavy. Many similar pages. Many small revisions. If shipping the same kind of page 30 times in a row sounds tedious, this isn't your role. If it sounds like a craft worth getting good at, keep reading.

What the Day Looks Like

1. 7:45 AM — Morning meeting. We cover the day's priorities, work through personal development as leaders, and check in on personal goals. This isn't a corporate ritual. It's how we get sharper as people and as a team.
2. Mornings: Site builds, page production, and client revisions.
3. Afternoons: QA, deeper builds, structured training, and learning the systems that will let you grow into a more senior role over time.

Requirements

1. In-office full-time at our McKinney location (no remote or hybrid to start)
2. Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM start
3. Comfortable working in WordPress and the Gutenberg block editor
4. Reliable transportation to McKinney, TX
5. Authorized to work in the U.S.
