In this role, your mission and responsibilities will be to:

This Junior Accountant is responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Jr Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial data. Specifically, you’ll:
 

• Support the monthly close process by preparing and posting journal entries
• Prepare and own balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyze P&L and Balance Sheet variances
• Responsible for the accurate accounting of fixed assets including tracking of construction-in-progress. Maintain the fixed asset register.
• Prepare bank reconciliations
• Resolve accounting discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and assist with audits
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
   

Experience and requirements:
 

• Associate's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 1 years of accounting experience
• Manufacturing experience a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel skills preferred
• Strong accounting analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communications skills
