We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our development and operational processes by implementing best practices in automation, monitoring, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD). This position requires a strong understanding of both development and operations, fostering collaboration between software engineering and IT teams to improve productivity and efficiency.

Duties

• Collaborate with software developers and IT staff to oversee code releases and deployments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development process.
• Manage infrastructure using configuration management tools.
• Monitor system performance using tools like New Relic to ensure optimal operation.
• Automate repetitive tasks through scripting with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
• Conduct requirements gathering sessions to understand project needs and deliver solutions accordingly.
• Troubleshoot issues across the development and production environments, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in software project management activities to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in .NET and familiarity with WebSphere for application deployment.
• Experience with RESTful services and APIs for seamless integration between systems.
• Strong background in network administration to support infrastructure needs.
• Knowledge of IT project management methodologies to effectively manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Familiarity with software project management tools for tracking progress and collaboration.
• Experience in requirements gathering to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
