Support NASA Strategy & Architecture Office (SAO) management by leading integration and logistical coordination efforts for internal and external NASA technical and programmatic reviews. Time is split between the Element Definition and Integration (ED&I) and Business Integration (BI) offices.

SAO is responsible for defining and initiating NASA’s Moon to Mars elements needed for long-term, human-led scientific discovery in deep space. More information

This is a full-time 100% remote position with expected domestic travel, not to exceed 10%.

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsible for the integration and logistical coordination of technical and programmatic reviews for ED&I (40%) and major/high-profile annual review and external forums (two annually) for SAO (40%) Logistics execution include venue research, recommendation, and booking, food and beverage, signage, A/V, travel, etc. Integration and management of agenda and presentations; communications to presenters Creation, communication, and management of plan for documentation of event – note taking, recordings, virtual connections, transcript, etc. Management of hybrid environments including WebEx events team, Teams, and associated A/V to accommodate requirements Work with leadership to manage communications to participants and stakeholders including invitations and awareness updates. Other as directed Other (20%)

  • Maintenance of planning roadmaps
  • SharePoint page management, content development
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in a related discipline
  • 5 years’ experience of logistical planning, coordination, and execution of large, high-profile events, reviews, etc.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online and Microsoft Tool Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills
  • Independent and self-motivated; proactive ability to learn on the job
  • Willing to travel domestically approx. 10%
  • This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
