Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Graphic Designer. In this role as a Credence-employed contractor to the Government and as part of the larger Credence program management office (PMO) team, you will provide visual communications and graphic design support for the priorities, initiatives, and programs of the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) and Defense Intrepid Network for TBI and Brain Health. The NICoE improves the lives of service members with TBI and other invisible wounds of war through excellence in TBI clinical care, research, and education. As the headquarters of the 13-site Defense Intrepid Network for TBI and Brain Health, the NICoE fosters collaboration among the many providers, researchers, and other staff working to heal the invisible wounds of war.
Responsibilities
- Turning information and data into an easy-to-comprehend visuals that helps to educate and inform others
- Using engaging design and storytelling techniques to highlight key takeaways and simplify complex concepts
- Designing client products and tools such as annual reports, brochures, booklets, and other communications products
- Creating infographics for different audiences
- Managing the design and production of a wide range of efforts to include brochures, annual reports, one-pagers, etc.
- Working closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and senior leaders to collect, interpret, and synthesize information needed to develop each product
- Performing quality reviews to ensure each product is accurate, consistent with laws, regulations, and policies, includes all important concepts, meets the style and branding requirements of the organization, follows the appropriate template and is at appropriate comprehension level for the intended audience
- Producing working and final versions of each product for review by SMEs and senior managers/leaders within specified timeframes
- Supporting the development of other organizational communications products such website(s) and videos
Qualifications
- BA or BS degree in Graphic Design or a related field with 3+ years of experience with graphic design or visual communications.
- Experience with military or federal government organizations preferred.
- Experience in preparing complex infographics and data visualization products for clients
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premier Pro
- Experience with Microsoft Office products such as PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
- Ability to show an excellent portfolio showcasing broad design expertise
- Experience with organizing data into concise and visually appealing communications products
- Ability to be a self-starter and multi-task across multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced team environment
- Experience with Section 508 and accessibility requirements
- Excellent customer support, collaboration, and written and oral communication skills
