Overview:

We are seeking a skilled GCP Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and DevOps practices to optimize performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.
2. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
3. Optimize cloud performance, cost, and security through best practices and automation.
4. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build.
5. Ensure security compliance by implementing IAM policies, VPC configurations, and encryption strategies.
6. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud infrastructure issues using Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and incident response tools.
7. Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enhance cloud reliability and scalability.
8. Automate cloud resource provisioning, scaling, and maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
2. Strong expertise in GCP networking, IAM, Compute, and Storage services.
3. Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools.
4. Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and containerization (Docker).
5. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
6. Solid understanding of cloud security, monitoring, and cost optimization.
7. Scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
8. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. GCP Professional Cloud Architect or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer certification.
2. Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
3. Knowledge of big data and analytics services on GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62.69 - $68.26 per hour
