The Atlanta Gladiators are in search of students and other young people in the Gwinnett County & Greater Atlanta area who are enrolled in school or recently graduated to continue developing their skills in Live-Event & Studio Production. Gladiators games are produced by “Gladiators Game Network” (GGN), the team responsible for video, audio, graphic and talent operations. Below are the positions and areas available in the Gladiators Game Network Apprenticeship program:

LIVE PRODUCTION:

• Floor Manager – Assists with directing hosts, ice crew & hype crew with game cues and other activities.
• Show Runner – Helps coordinating performers, contestants and other personnel and having them in place for elements.
• Hype Crew – Encourages the fans to engage with the game experience – assists with on-ice intermission elements.
• Live Camera Operator – Operates one of the broadcast camera positions during a Ghost Pirates Game.
• DJ – Responsible for operating “7Point Audio” Sports DJ software in game and collecting relevant music for Premium Nights.
• TagBoard Operator – Operates the TagBoard graphics key& social media population software.

VIDEO:

• Game Footage Capture – Tasked with capturing game action for hype videos, social media and other purposes.
• Shot List Capture – Tasked with capturing promotional, group and fan activities from a set shot list each game.
• Long Form Content Production – Tasked with preparing, recording and editing of long form videos for Gladiators Game Network in-game and AG Social Media.

PHOTOGRAPHY:

• Live Game Action Shots – Tasked with capturing Live Game Action shots for use in promotional and social media content, and to satisfy league requirements.
• In-Game Feature Capture – Tasked with capturing sponsored in-game features and other promotional-related tasks.
• Shot List Capture – Tasked with capturing promotional, group and fan activities from a set shot list each game.

GRAPHIC DESIGN:

• Game Elements – Assists with creating game element graphics for use in-game or on social media.
• Game Update Graphics – Assists with creating game updated-related graphics from set templates for use pregame, between periods and post game.

We are looking for reliable, creative, open minded team players who can take direction and are interested in learning in a real-time environment with real-time deadlines and criteria for success.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in college or recently graduated
• Major/Degree that is relevant to the positions desired
• Availability for all 36 Gladiators Home Games is preferred.
• Occasional flexible availability outside of game nights.
• Each position demands different physical requirements, but ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs, move with pace around the building, able to travel via stairs and stay on feet for long periods of time.
• Can take direction and hold place as a part of a large working team.
