Front End Developer (Magento / Vue.js)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Front End Developer with experience building and supporting customer-facing eCommerce solutions. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce frontend architecture, Vue.js, Knockout.js, and modern web technologies. This individual will work closely with product owners, business analysts, UX designers, architects, and backend developers in an Agile environment to deliver scalable, performant, and user-friendly experiences.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, test, deploy, and support frontend solutions for our eCommerce platform.
2. Build and enhance customer-facing experiences using Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
3. Develop and maintain functionality within a Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce storefront.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
5. Troubleshoot defects and production issues and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Ensure solutions meet performance, accessibility, security, and quality standards.
7. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including refinement, sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

1. Strong experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce frontend architecture.
2. Experience working with custom Magento storefront implementations and themes.
3. Proficiency with Vue.js.
4. Experience with Knockout.js.
5. Strong JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development skills.
6. Understanding of Magento layouts, templates, UI components, and frontend rendering concepts.
7. Experience consuming REST APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
8. Experience using Git-based source control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.).
9. Experience working within Agile development teams (Scrum/Kanban).
10. Experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, etc.) to improve productivity, code quality, and problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience supporting B2B eCommerce platforms.
2. Familiarity with Docker-based development environments.
3. Basic understanding of PHP and Magento module architecture.
4. Experience working with analytics, SEO, accessibility, and website performance optimization
