Job Description:

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Front-End Designer & Developer based in the United States.

This role combines front-end development, digital design, and creative production to shape a high-performing B2B digital presence. You will own the look, feel, accessibility, responsiveness, and conversion performance of the website while creating compelling marketing assets across digital and print channels. The position blends hands-on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, and Elementor development with strong visual design skills. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, sales, product, customer success, and web infrastructure teams to turn ideas into polished experiences. Data, experimentation, and modern AI-assisted tools will be central to how you identify opportunities and improve results. This is an ideal opportunity for a versatile creative technologist who enjoys moving seamlessly between code, design, and measurable business impact.

Accountabilities

  • Design and build responsive website templates, components, and landing pages using clean, scalable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript within WordPress and Elementor.
  • Translate business and marketing requirements into wireframes, prototypes, production-ready designs, and polished digital experiences.
  • Build and maintain reusable Elementor blocks, patterns, templates, global styles, and components that enable efficient on-brand publishing.
  • Own front-end accessibility and ensure digital experiences meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards, including semantic markup, keyboard navigation, contrast, alternative text, and focus states.
  • Optimize front-end performance and contribute to strong Core Web Vitals performance across LCP, INP, and CLS through asset, markup, and script optimization.
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility and conduct thorough QA before content and experiences are published.
  • Create branded landing pages, emails, forms, templates, and personalized content within HubSpot.
  • Develop and maintain a cohesive digital design system covering components, design tokens, typography, iconography, and Figma libraries.
  • Apply brand standards consistently across marketing materials, including partner and co-branded assets.
  • Document front-end, design, and production standards to make processes repeatable, reviewable, and scalable.
  • Produce creative assets across the marketing mix using Adobe Creative Cloud, including digital advertising, social media, email, sales collateral, trade shows, events, product launches, and print.
  • Transform complex product, technical, and data concepts into clear visuals, infographics, presentations, and other materials for sales, customer success, and executive audiences.
  • Coordinate video and photography projects from concept through delivery, including briefing external partners, managing stakeholders, reviewing creative, and ensuring brand consistency.
  • Use GA4, HubSpot, heatmaps, search data, and other analytics to identify friction and opportunities, then design and execute A/B tests across pages, forms, and calls to action.
  • Monitor web and creative performance, including conversion rates, engagement, and campaign outcomes, and use insights to prioritize future initiatives.
  • Track digital design, web, B2B marketing, and competitive trends to continuously improve the organization's digital presence.
  • Partner with the Web Platform Engineer on initiatives involving plugins, infrastructure, tracking, and server-side performance.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Events, Sales, Technical teams, and Customer Success to deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.
  • Use approved AI-assisted tools for concept development, asset variations, copy iteration, code scaffolding, and QA while maintaining personal accountability for accuracy, accessibility, quality, and brand consistency.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience designing and building websites, supported by a portfolio demonstrating both strong visual design and personally developed, shipped front-end work.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital media, visual communications, interaction design, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, including Flexbox and Grid, and JavaScript.
  • Demonstrated experience working within WordPress themes and extending or customizing page builders with CSS and front-end code.
  • Significant experience with Elementor, including templates, global styles, custom widgets, and working effectively within its markup and performance constraints.
  • Practical WordPress experience involving themes, templates, custom fields, and page-level components.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, with a portfolio demonstrating polished digital and print work.
  • Strong Figma skills covering interface design, prototyping, component libraries, design systems, and developer handoff.
  • Working knowledge of HubSpot for building landing pages, emails, forms, templates, and related marketing experiences.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, visual hierarchy, and conversion-focused digital experiences.
  • Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility requirements and practical testing methods, including axe, WAVE, keyboard navigation, and screen reader checks.
  • Familiarity with on-page SEO and Core Web Vitals and an understanding of how front-end decisions affect search visibility and performance.
  • Strong change-management and QA discipline, including working in staging environments, testing before publication, and documenting changes.
  • Fluency with AI-assisted design and development tools, combined with sound judgment about where human creativity, validation, and review are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicate timelines clearly, collaborate across teams, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced marketing environment.
  • Experience with video editing or motion graphics using tools such as Premiere Pro or After Effects is a plus.
  • Photography or videography experience, particularly for jobsite or customer content, is a plus.
  • Experience marketing to construction, industrial, or other field-based B2B audiences is a plus.
  • Portfolio submission is required and should demonstrate both design work and websites or pages personally built by the candidate.

Benefits

  • Full-time remote opportunity within the United States, with East Coast candidates preferred.
  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Comprehensive, low-cost employee benefits.
  • Benefits begin on the first day of employment.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and Volunteer Time Off (VTO).
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Dependent care benefits.
  • Employee referral bonus opportunities.
  • Professional growth and personal development opportunities within a dynamic environment.
  • Up to approximately 15% travel.
  • Inclusive workplace committed to diverse perspectives, collaboration, innovation, and respect.
