Temporary WordPress Developer (Contract Position)

We’re looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team on a temporary contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in custom WordPress theme development, ACF blocks, Git, JavaScript, and CSS/Sass. If you’re skilled at building modular, scalable, and maintainable WordPress solutions, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch following best practices.
• Build and maintain ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) blocks for a dynamic and flexible editing experience.
• Collaborate via Bitbucket for version control and code reviews.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented JavaScript for interactive front-end components.
• Utilize CSS/Sass to create maintainable, responsive styles.
• Optimize code and performance for a fast website experience.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with custom WordPress theme development (not just theme modification).
• Expertise in ACF Blocks and working within the WordPress block editor (Gutenberg).
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), CSS/Sass, and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with Git workflows for collaboration.
• Ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Experience with PHP and WordPress API development is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
