SCOPE: Seed Company is seeking a talented Film Producer who can bring ideas to life in new and inspiring ways. This individual can tell compelling and emotive stories through moving images.

The ideal candidate should be grounded in storytelling, have a strong cinematic aesthetic, and should also have a strong point of view that shows in his/her work. When this individual decides to craft something, they efficiently manage their vision from concept to launch, while working from a collaborative mindset. The film producer should be prepared to dive headfirst into a vast array of projects. This person will have autonomy to work independently and collaboratively with other filmmakers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Additionally, the right candidate possesses an exuberant passion for the power of strategic storytelling, and an “anything is possible” mindset. Furthermore, they should take pride in your work and yet have a humble approach. Finally, this producer should operate as a catalyst for creativity with a dedication to quality craftsmanship.

Essential Functions

  • Shoot independently on original concepts
  • Grow team knowledge of best-in-practice video trends
  • Collaborate and partner with the Creative Director, Project Managers, designers, and others
  • Give and solicit feedback from others
  • Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment
  • Develop, script, produce, and edit sharable motion picture content.
  • Create pitches and concepts for upcoming projects
  • Technical storytelling, visualize data, and abstract ideas
  • Work cross-functionally across multiple departments
  • Stay abreast of changing film and video technologies, and corporate, organizational, and industry standards to ensure leading-edge interpretation and execution of video applications on all platforms and at events
  • Aspire to be a leader and mentor; challenge, grow and mentor your peers and foster a collaborative team spirit

Supervisory Responsibility

  • No Supervisory responsibilities.

Other Duties

  • Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups as directed and maintain required level of knowledge pertaining to operating procedures, requirements, processes and policies.
  • Lead and or participate in projects or task force groups which focus on issues having organization wide impact.
  • Perform or assist with any assignments as required or directed.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment.

Physical Demands

Occasional exertion up to 10 – 20 pounds of camera/film equipment.

Travel

Domestic and International travel is expected, approximately 3 weeks per year.

Qualifications

  • Passion for the Word of God and provision of the Word for every people group
  • Champion of the Seed Company’s vision, mission, and values
  • Link to a strong portfolio of work demonstrating a breadth of work & arresting storytelling
  • Creative inventor and innovator with the ability to articulate big and breakthrough ideas
  • 5+ years of video production experience
  • 3+ years of creative agency or video production/post team experience
  • 2+ years creating video for brand and product
  • Experience coaching business clients to create video solutions
  • Experience in Premiere, After Effects, Resolve, Media Encoding Software, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Experience and knowledge in multiple video mediums: Virtual Reality (VR), Social, web, event, experiential and broadcast are a plus
  • Experience working with non-actor talent for authentic performance
  • Ability to actively manage multiple projects
  • Experience in storytelling and visual choices
  • Ability to create and maintain budgets
  • Ability to travel
