Mabbett & Associates, Inc.​ (Mabbett®), an award winning environmental, health and safety (EHS) consulting and engineering firm, is seeking a full-time EHS Specialist to support a variety of EHS projects on-site at Federal client facilities in the Boston area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or a biological, chemical, or physical science discipline.
• General knowledge of EHS regulations, including hazardous waste, air, wastewater, and OSHA regulations.
• Must be able to manage multiple and competing priorities and complete tasks on-time in a dynamic environment.
• Possess strong technical, interpersonal, organizational and communications (written and oral) skills.
• Proficient in MS Office®.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position (i.e., ability to work in the field, work outdoors, lift 50 lbs., etc.).
• Due to the nature of our work, the clients that we serve, and the setting for certain on-site assignments, the candidate selected for this position must be fully vaccinated for the Covid-19 virus prior to beginning employment except in situations where a medical or religious accommodation is requested and granted by the firm. Key Responsibilities

The EHS Specialist will primarily provide on-site EHS Consulting support for a Federal agency but will also provide support to other Federal and Private Sector clients.  This is a hands-on position and typical activities include but are not limited to general environmental compliance activities to include waste management; data entry and analysis; and environmental compliance reporting and planning.  

Base Location 

This position is based out of our Stoneham, MA office and requires ability to travel to sites located throughout New England on a weekly basis.
