Responsibilities:

• Develop the Web Production team's culture, including inspiration, energy, and a sense of mission.
• Develop new ideas and processes to improve company efficiencies through web development practices
• Provide direction to Web Design and Web Dev. & App Dev Managers and Specialists for daily operation duties in support of goals, initiatives, client assignments, customer communications, and performance feedback.
• Generate and provide performance reporting statistics and status updates to Managing Partners, including, but not limited to: profitability, utilization, billable hours, capacity, feedback on projects, successes & challenges, personnel issues, and other work-related activities.
• Supervise the department's daily workflow, assign project workload, and monitor deadlines and budgets
• Schedule and lead department meetings, workshops, and functions.
• Monitor performance, conduct performance reviews, and provide career development for employees.
• Attend and/or Present at trade shows, industry events, internal meetings, and conferences as required or appropriate
• The owner of end-to-end process creation and the execution and oversight of every process and metric within their department.
• Helps plan and develop client and company strategy, create policies, decide how to structure the department and teams, and supervise senior staff
• Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to Web Production
• Drive innovation, education, and evangelization of website-based
• offerings
• Manage training and onboarding related to your department.
• Report on and support department KPI’s and reporting

Required Skills/Experience:

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and exceed goals
• Solutions-focused and proactive in regard to addressing issues and problems.
• Ability to communicate and institute new initiatives, processes, and policies to team members

• Comfortable speaking to the C-suite/leadership and presenting thoughts and ideas.
• Excellent time management skills; superior verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of changing trends within web production

Leadership:

• Works under the guidance of the VP of Web Production and/or Managing Partners
• As staff grows, this role might lead a team of managers and be in charge of monitoring their performance and ensuring team goals are met
• Ability to de-escalate intense or challenging conversations using proper tone, alignment, and problem-solving abilities.
• Uses good judgment about whether to act independently or to escalate an issue.
• Escalates urgent decisions in a thoughtful and timely manner.
• Supports the career development of the entire Web Production Department
• Leads meetings with the Web Production team to discuss ongoing issues, potential improvements, etc
• Set goals for and review the performance of the Web Production team quarterly
