Summary of Job Diesel Mechanic: You would be the farm diesel mechanic and maintenance person. You will typically have one non-skilled person helping you. Division managers put in requests to you for repairs. You are in charge of maintenance and upkeep of all diesel machines at the property. We are a very seasonal business. Your usual hours are weekdays but at the start of a festival season we will need your help on the weekends. Must be able to help around the farm on Weekends in October as this is our busy season.

Tasks of the Diesel Mechanic:

1) Fulfilling maintenance requests from the division managers (repairing play things in the park, bakery, food venues, repairing engines so that Ag can keep going etc.)

2) Setting up a program to make sure all engines are being serviced on time.

3) Repairing Engines at property-chain saws, weed eaters, generators, water pump, Kubota skid, Kubota tractor, New Holland tractor, John Deer Gators, John Deer Mower, Bad Boy Zero Turn

Hour Requirement Diesel Mechanic: 40 hours/week--overtime during the busy seasons. Typically Monday-Friday but each festival Easter, Sunflowers, Fall Fest (must be here each weekend), Christmas there is a requirement to help out or be on call in case the division managers need something repaired, something set up etc..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
