Description

Cognizant is seeking a Cyber Security Engineering & Architect Sr. Associate to join our team to provide Cyber Security Engineering Services for Healthcare. This position reports to our Technical Associate Director and is a member of the team providing cybersecurity design, architecture, and Operation. Working with fellow team members, the Cyber Security Engineering & Architect Sr. Associate will be responsible for a wide variety of activities to secure, manage, and continually evolve the environment. Job responsibilities include:
 

• Infrastructure management, tuning and administration of core tools including Firewall (Cisco / Palo Alto / Checkpoint / Fortinet and NSX)
• Participate and support the Firewall Rule Change Board to ensure changes are managed in accordance with process, standards, and policy requirements
• Audit and validate compliance with approved firewall rules and security device configurations
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity activities
• Document, update and maintain policies, procedures and job aids associated with management of the environment
• Provide data flow design and analysis to support cybersecurity requirements and reference architecture
• Develop standards and baselines in accordance with best practice, compliance requirements and NIST guidance
• Develop reports, recurring deliverables and presentations for management and executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience with NIST and HIPPA Security Guidelines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with dynamic routing protocols, VRF configuration, firewalls and Vmware NSX.
• Experience with deploying and troubleshooting enterprise VPN solutions (Global Protect, Cisco AnyConnect)
• Experience with reporting and reporting tools
• Experience with the following technologies:
• Cisco ASA/FMC/FTD/ISE
• Splunk
• VMware NSX
• Palo Alto
• Checkpoint
• Fortinet
• AlgoSec

Preferred:

• Experience with DevOps / Agile practices
• Experience with network configuration and design in a cloud-based environment (Azure, AWS, GCP & Oracle)
• Cloud certifications such as AWS, Azure or Google
• Experience with enterprise architecture framework(s)
• Relevant cybersecurity certification (CISSP or CRISC preferred; alternatives include CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISA, CISM, GSLC, C-CISO, etc)
• Networking certifications (CCNP, CCNA, PCSNE)
