Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the Cyber Analyst level III position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

The top candidate will perform highly advanced (senior-level) cybersecurity analysis work and must be experienced with UAM capabilities and common insider threat TTP's and demonstrated experience in the life cycle of both internal and external cybersecurity threats attacks, attack vectors, and methods of exploitation.

The top candidate will be involved in protecting cybersecurity assets and delivering cybersecurity incident detection, incident response, threat assessment, cyber intelligence, software security, and vulnerability assessment services.

Skills / Experience Required

• 7+ years' experience in cybersecurity
• Familiarity with Information Technology (IT) systems and cybersecurity
• Demonstrated experience in in lifecycle of cybersecurity attacks, attack vectors, and methods of exploitation
• Aptitude for analytical and creative thinking
• Strong written and communication skills
• Ability to compose technical reports on analytical findings
• Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships

Education / Certifications

• BS/BA
• MS/MA preferred
• CompTIA Sec+ (CISSP preferred)

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
