What You’ll Do:
- Produce copy for email marketing campaigns and landing pages to maximize lead capture for multi-channel demand generation efforts.
- Produce on-brand, creative copy for email drips, blogs, landing pages, eBooks, infographics, and other sales enablement materials, to boost our lead generation efforts and increase engagement with B2B and B2C customers.
- Work with Demand Gen team to establish email performance benchmarks, deliver reporting and insights that accurately measures the performance of content, and recommend actions to improve performance.
- Write and edit SEO-friendly blogs and guides that are optimized for search and conversion.
- Become a topic specialist for all uShip verticals and work with the Associate Director of CRM and GTM to develop effective messaging that resonates with our target audiences.
- Collaborate closely with product marketing, design, and sales, to ensure content is delivered complete and on time.
- Constantly optimize copy and messaging, employing A/B testing to determine which messaging, subject lines and copy best motivates users to engage and convert.
- Ensure all content maintains a consistent brand voice, style, and tone across channels, as well as adheres to accessibility and compliance regulations.
Who You Are:
- Skilled copywriter with 3-5 years of experience in a professional environment. Preferably for B2B and B2C companies, with an emphasis on digital marketing programs.
- Excellent writing, editing, grammar and verbal communication skills.
- Deep experience writing direct response copy with strong calls to action (CTAs) to drive conversion and customer engagement.
- Experience collaborating with, hiring, and training freelance copywriters.
- Ability to adapt to changing marketing trends, and continuously enhance copywriting skills through professional development opportunities.
- Strong project management skills, especially in working with a dynamic cross-functional environment with multiple departments.
- Superior organizational skills; detail oriented; meets deadlines; carefully proofs own work and work of others.
- Experience with UX writing preferred.
- Dependable, takes pride in work, and works well within a team.

Salary Range: $75-90k+ base salary, estimated $90-105k total compensation with bonus, insurance, 401k matching, etc.
