Job Description
We are seeking a talented Content Writer with a passion for jewelry and proven experience in creating compelling content that drives engagement and supports SEO strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the jewelry market, trends, and terminology, combined with exceptional writing skills to produce high-quality content across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content for the company's website, including product descriptions, landing pages, FAQs and other web copy that resonates with our target audience. Optimize existing content to meet current standards and objectives.
- Blog Management: Research, write, and edit blog posts that align with the content strategy and SEO goals of each brand. Topics may include jewelry trends, buying guides, education, industry news, and customer stories.
- SEO Optimization: Work closely with the Director of Search Engine Optimization to implement SEO best practices to maximize content visibility and organic traffic. This includes keyword research, meta tags optimization, headlines and writing SEO-friendly content
- Editorial Outreach: Write compelling articles and guest posts for offsite publications to enhance brand visibility and attract backlinks.
- Social Media Content: Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging social media content that reflects our brand voice and promotes our products effectively.
- Content Calendar Management: Maintain an editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of content that aligns with marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform content strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Content Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content produced by other team members or freelancers to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Mandatory Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Content Writer or similar role with a portfolio of published articles.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience in implementing SEO strategies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
- Knowledge of the jewelry industry, including terminology, materials, trends, and market dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a commitment to delivering high-quality content.
- Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in writing for the jewelry or luxury goods industry.
