Content Writer/Communications Specialist needed to support our internal HR department.
Responsibilities
· Lead the HR communications efforts, including planning, developing, and implementing numerous HR-related communications campaigns for HR processes, policies, and programs, change management initiatives, and strategic communications.
· Identify, create, and maximize communication opportunities. Develop and execute campaigns that drive employee awareness through print, web, face-to-face, and digital channels.
· Measure the effectiveness of communications, adoption, and utilization rates across employee programs. Develop and manage effective communications measures and analytics to assess and improve performance.
· Work in close partnership with the HR and Marketing teams to ensure alignment, message consistency, and usage of corporate communications tools and channels. Partner with all other teams and external vendors as required.
· Manage schedules and deliverables for all HR communications products and presentations for executive meetings, presentations, and special events.
· Deliver special projects and take on other responsibilities as determined by business needs and senior leadership.
· Program ownership includes, but is not limited to Corporate intranet HR content, global HR policies, employee communications, orientation decks, job aids, candidate marketing materials.
Qualifications
· 7+ years working in HR/Corporate communications, policies, programs.
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field.
· Ability to flex working hours to accommodate a global organization (mostly India to NY).
Skills
· Strong writing and editing skills, including proficiency in the use of the AP style guide across multiple countries. Excellent communications, research, and organization skills.
· Strong strategic planning and execution skills; experience with and competency in change management.
· Ability to work well with diverse, global team members.
· Accurate, detail-oriented self-starter and quick learner, with the ability to take direction from multiple sources and prioritize effectively; must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish and meet deadlines.
· Social media management experience.
· Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, media in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner.
· Ability to flex working hours to accommodate a global organization (mostly India to NY). Travel may be required for special events.
