EP Inspections and Commissioning (EPIC) is a growing organization looking to add a part-time (approx. 30 hours a week) mechanical engineering undergraduate/recent graduate to our team of talented professionals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a thriving Special Inspection Agency that is gaining recognition in the industry and has the support of its well-established sister MEP design firm, EP Engineering.

The position will provide valuable experience in multiple engineering disciplines and construction. The main purpose of this position is to visit construction sites to inspect Tenant Protection Plan Compliance. You will be trained by our current inspectors to gain confidence, and then trusted to conduct these inspections on your own.

THIS POSITION MAY LEAD TO FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT AS A SPECIAL INSPECTOR

Essential Job Duties:

• Conduct weekly construction site visits to review for compliance with Tenant Protection Plans.
• Write and maintain accurate Tenant Protection Plan Compliance reports.
• Keep information accessible by organizing and saving reports and any documentation provided correctly.
• Send out weekly reports to all relevant parties.

Qualification Requirements:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a recent graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Motivated learner

Physical Responsibilities:

Must have the ability to move around on an active construction site, including climbing stairs or ladders, and positioning oneself safely.
