Job Description:

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Cloud Administrator to support and maintain our growing cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys balancing day-to-day operations with continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical fundamentals across AWS and Microsoft 365, a passion for technology, and the ability to independently manage priorities while ensuring performance, reliability, and security. This role is focused on hands-on administration and operational support, not cloud architecture or software development.

Be part of what makes us GREAT! Apply today!

Responsibilities

As a Cloud Administrator, you’ll be responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, and support of our cloud environments, including:

  • Manage and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, AWS Secrets, ECS, EKS, RDS, ELB, and Lambda
  • Monitor cloud systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security
  • Assist with deploying, configuring, and maintaining cloud resources, including updates and security patches
  • Support user access, SSO, and permissions using AWS IAM and identity integrations (SSO, SAML, OAuth, SCIM)
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, Entra ID, Intune/Autopilot, Defender, Purview, and Cloud Voice
  • Provide administration and support for tools such as Datadog, Druva, and Appgate
  • Perform server administration and troubleshooting across Windows, Ubuntu, and CentOS
  • Use monitoring and logging tools including CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, and Site24x7
  • Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support cloud operations and ongoing improvements

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience supporting and administering AWS cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience with EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and RDS
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, subnets, NAT, security groups)
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows server administration
  • Working knowledge of scripting or automation (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Skills That Matter

  • Highly self-directed and proactive, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on reliability and quality
  • Clear communicator who collaborates effectively with technical and non-technical teams
  • Comfortable working in an environment with evolving processes and minimal day-to-day supervision

Nice to Have

  • AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner or Associate level)
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code or automation (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools (Git, CI/CD, Docker)
  • Experience with security, networking, or virtualization technologies (firewalls, VPNs, VMware, Proxmox)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $95,000–$125,000 per year
  • Comprehensive benefits package including:
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off
  • Life insurance
  • Employee wellness programs
  • Professional development and learning opportunities
