Service Plus is seeking an experienced chemical service representative to join our growing team. Service Plus is a leader in the commercial cooking & refrigeration service industry and has expanded to providing ware-wash, food service, and on-premise laundry chemical programs. We provide our customers with affordable and quality products, regular and emergency service, preventive maintenance, product demonstrations, and training. Our chemical division supplies hospitals, restaurants, nursing homes, schools, banquet halls, corporate facilities, etc., and other establishments throughout most of New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and parts of New York.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, repair, and replace ware-washing, laundry, and housekeeping dispensers as needed

Perform monthly preventive maintenance visits to accounts verifying proper operation of dispensing equipment

Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements and upgrades

Must be willing to learn company’s products, product dispensing systems, equipment, and procedures

Consult with clients on their Warewashing systems and develop customized programs to suit their unique needs

Perform practical tasks including maintenance services, chemical testing, and repair of equipment

Work in conjunction with Account Manager to maintain customer satisfaction

Qualifications and Skills:

Industry related experience in foodservice, ware-washing, housekeeping, laundry, etc required

Knowledge of chemical dispensing equipment

Mechanical, plumbing, and electrical experience

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

Must have a valid driver’s license
