Backend Web Developer (Full-Time) –Junior or Mid-Level Welcome, 2-5 years of experience | US-Based Company - REMOTE

THIS IS A CONTRACTOR POSITION

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js (JavaScript) and Python
• Collaborate with our team using Agile practices and take part in scrum meetings
• Work with containerized environments (e.g., Azure Container Services)
• Take part in strategic technical meetings where architectural decisions will have to be taken.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong understanding of Node.js and Python
• Experience with Express.js
• Basic experience with Docker or similar container platforms
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, and you’ve led or helped run a scrum before
• Experience with No-SQL and SQL databases
• Ability to envision complex IT environment and be a vector of initiative in its design.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Bonus Points):

• Experience with Express.js
• Exposure to payment gateway integration
• Redis experience
• Azure Functions experience
